The COMFORT Communication Project, LLC is pleased to provide a Teaching Guide for COVID Communication. The guide is offered as a free resource to nursing faculty and other healthcare professional educators wanting to incorporate the COMFORT Communication app in their courses.

These resources are all free of charge and meant to be shared and used. The goal of the guide is to enable easy upload into your online learning management system and provide students with a free resource to increase their awareness of the communication skills needed to provide patient- and family-centered care.

In these documents you will find information that can be copied and pasted into your online learning management system. This material can exist within your course as a required assignment or as an extra credit opportunity to compliment course instruction. Directions for competency assessment are included.
